Joy Behar show is on now. Standard questions ie (do you have to get permission) and of course a plug for his book. He autographed some books for her then they flashed the pic of Lisa Kudrow and Al. She asked about Lady Gaga etc. Okay clip. nothing too revealing but hey its Al on national TV!

It was pretty much the quintessential Weird Al interview, plus the new standard lines regarding the book (the advice his dad gave, the guidance counselor, etc). They played clips from Eat It, Like A Surgeon, and Fat. Joy mistakenly thought Al had parodied Lady Gaga, and Al explained Polka Face to her. She asked about the denial of parodies from McCartney, Prince, and Led Zep, but Al only had time to explain the McCartney situation before it was time to sign off.
She did ask about the TMZ photo of Al and Lisa Kudrow (who was weirdly on the same episode for some reason) and asked Al if he was having an affair.

Geez I am glad they has him on earlier. I usually love gossip shows but that show was painfully boring.

I agree. My wife was like I hope he is on soon so we can switch back to what we were watching. She sounded a bit like Joan Rivers!

Oh the one cool thing was there was a funny little on-screen graphic with Al on a bike and big cartoon letters that read WEIRD AL, as if he was a recurring segment on the show. And during the introduction, she said "Tonight my guest is Weird Al, and no I don't mean Sharpton or Gore..."

Luckily Al's segment was on when I switched over to HeadlineNews from the SuperBowl FanJam show. Actually, a pretty good interview. Best that you could expect with Behar. She really is annoying. Al took everything in stride. Nothing earth-shattering, but it was great to see Al on national TV. With a good amount of time.

I put it on DVR and only watched Al's segment. He did fine, but it was hard to answer her questions as she would cut him off before he was done answering. Don't know what she's famous for, but she shouldn't be hosting an interview type show.

Dave, she's famous for being an interviewer. She was a stand up for years until she was cast as "the funny one" on the view. She's just a loud squawker in my opinion
