I'm going to two. And I don't have any children. :lookaround:

Well seeing as you have to buy the book to get in line I'm sure Al will be delighted to see all of you as many times as possible :D

I'll be there for the signing. the bookstore website states that line passes are available when you buy the book (well it did yesterday when i looked). I'm going tomorrow night to get 2 copies of the book. I can report back to see if this is true.

i usually dont write reviews but since i think im the only one on here that went guess i should, unless Blaine is here, doors opened at 7:30 though you were able to get into the building before that, i got there close to 7, waited around, then they opened up registration and everyone swarmed to the tables to get your name tag, saw Al's name tag, sorry no pix didnt want to be stalker, waited for blaine and the woman infront of me was a author, she asked if i had my name tag said yes, and asked if mine had a number, it did not, blaine got there and we went in, lots of tables, and trying to find seats, we asked if some were taken they said yes, but those were for the authors, i said lets go to 27, blaine asked if Al was sitting there, said dont know, so i ran out, cause Al wasnt there yet, he was at 15, rush to find the table but it was all full, so we went to 17, close enough.

things get started and on the adjenda was 5 speakers AL was last, and during the speakers they had 3 author table chats, where they would get up and move to the next table to chat about the book, and they were to go to the next highest number table, so it was speaker, chat, speaker speaker, chat, speaker, chat, speaker, well being 2 tables from Al, and 3 chats, his last chat was at our table right b4 he was to speak, i swear i didnt know that was gonna happen that way, and of course while Al chats with the table ppl come up to have him sign the book, it happen all times, our 2nd chatter didnt even chat with us, she had to get her presentation ready, she seemed boring anyway, so eveyone talked about their book and things, but they had ppl fill out cards if you wanted to ask him questions, we were on stage right so AL had his head turned most the time while answering questions, so i went to the other side to take pix and video, though dont know why i did video, my comp doesnt like the camera or card.

so everything was over and Al went out to the lobby to sign more books, and i went to walmart to make cd's of the pix from both times so Al could have them to view, though i didnt get all pix from fri night, so ill have to send him that cd later, still no info on the album, it was nice that they put the authors at tables with the ppl, i thought it would be a big table up front, it was a nice time, glad i went

fred

ps sorry dont know what he ate
