Ghostbusters 2 was as good as the original, I think.

That was specifically for Johnny Dangerously?FredHuggins wrote:MOVIES AL RECORDED NEW SONGS SPECIFICALLY FOR:
Johnny Dangerously (1984) - "This Is The Life"
I wasn't sure if it was written directly for the flick or if he recorded it for an album and it was appropriated for it. It's been playing on cable recently. First time in years I watched it.

Yeah, "This Is The Life" was made especially for the movie, but because there was no soundtrack album (the song's 7" single on Scotti Bros. was the closest thing), Al was later able to include it on DTBS. That's why the "This Is The Life" video has all those clips from Dangerously.

Haha, how did I start a Weezer thread? smh...
Yeah, I always thought that was interesting that they weren't allowed to use the Dangerously clips in the video for the longest of times on releases. But, it was written specifically for it.
Also, to confirm Best Friend is in the credits of the Yogi Bear movie. Also confirmed is that Yogi Bear will soon be doing the next concert for Axe. Just to try to stay semi-relevant after the movie publicity has died down.

I'm surprised they don't have their own topic/thread here. They should, given the amount of discussion about them that pops up. Cripes. I like Weezer and all, even mentioned them a few times, but it's now a running joke, as has been their musical output since like, 2002.Alinite27 wrote:Haha, how did I start a Weezer thread? smh...
