Re: Rare Al items that you own!
My friend gave PATW on CD to me one year for my birthday. I don't know how he much paid, but it was probably normal price as I believe it was still in print at the time, just hard to find. I found the cassette version for $0.99 in a bargain bin at The Wiz. I bought a sealed LP version in a record store in Washington D.C. for normal price, less than $10. And another friend gave me her Canadian copy of the CD when I told her how rare it was, because she worked in a used CD store at the time and said they get them in once in a while so it would relatively easy for her to replace.

Yeah, PATW cassettes are usually still cheap. I found one at Amoeba Hollywood two years ago for $2.99. Last I checked, their used CD copies (when they get them) are still $50.

The other day, I was at a local Goodwill, and I was browsing there selection of used CDs, etc. and I stumbled upon a BRAND NEW, unopened, mint cassette single of "Smells Like Nirvana". It was awesome. And the best part of it was that it was only a dollar!
(I also found a bunch of crappy music from my childhood, but I digress...)

Did it have "Waffle King" as the b-side?

Indeed it did, but I don't know if that makes it any more rare or anything.

This has been a good month for me.
Although I know it isn't REALLY rare, I got an unopened copy of the "In 3-D" LP for 4 dollars at a used CD store.
Just wondering... Does the LP have any liner notes?

If by "liner notes" you mean "a custom inner sleeve with lyrics and credits and pictures and stuff," then no. Scotti Bros. didn't start doing that for Al's releases until DTBS.
