No, I really don't think so. Al usually doesn't joke in his tweets. Usually everything he says you can take at face value and there's no sarcasm or facetiousness in anything he says. The lead single on Al's new album will be a parody of the Macerena. You can take that one to the bank!

Al is clearly rebelling against a weak music scene at the moment and rehashing aclassic. Just ignore the fact that Al could've done the Macarena as the leadoff to RWS instead of TSB, but this is just a technicality
