you do know that your average cameras flash is only good up to about 20 feet max, and anything beyond that is useless, so turn it off to save battery power

Yeah, I do know that but my camera is kinda crappy in that with far distances, the only focuses with the flash. I can't make this stuff up!

From where she was sitting, I can almost guarantee it went unnoticed by Al and the band. It's only annoying to those around her... lol.

The other night I went to a town hall meeting with my congressman¹ and some jerk from the media got on stage with him and was shooting a crowd reaction shot with a blinding bright light pointed at the audience. It was really obnoxious as it made it impossible to see the congressman, and I know from personal experience the light was doing absolutely nothing to aide his shot.

As Kristine said, I was so far away, it wouldn't have affected Al or the band and the flash is so tiny and unnoticeable that the guy next to me was shocked when I said I had almost 300 pictures. "You took pictures?!"

Did anyone else think that the beach balls were annoying and distracting? One went near me and I shoved it at my feet.......then the dude behind me wanted it....ugh...I think it is kind of rude to have balls bouncing around when the band is trying to perform......

During the show, yeah it's rude. I did hear some complaints about the fact that it was happening before the show, which is absurd.

This is the second Craigslist (or should that be CRAAAAAIGSLIST!!!??) Missed Connection at a Weird Al show that I've seen on this tour (the other was in Jacksonville, of course) http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/mis/1901101327.html My guess is that this one will go on being Missed... the guy's a little stingy with the details.
