I heard that ad multiple times, and if it isn't Al saying the John Belushi thing, then I don't know what his voice sounds like.
I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who caught the ad. I just remember during the "Oops" specials that there was one other person on there that kinda sorta sounded like Al if you weren't really paying attention, but after a couple of listens to this SNL ad I am completely sure it is in fact Al. That slight mid-sentence "drop" in his pitch is unmistakable.
I too caught the ad. Just thought i'd let you know.

That and the fact that it caught my attention when I was reading. "Hey, that sounds like... Hey, it is!!"
Several AL movie appearances. I'm not going to put them on the calendar, but I thought folks might like to know anyway. Just in case you get one of the channels.
The All Access show that will be on VH-1 today at 4 pm Eastern is the Awesomely Bad Hair show. Al is discussed, and concert footage and pics are shown. *One current concert clip, the rest are older pics* He doesn't actually make an appearance, though. All that is said is "Weird Al is allowed to have hair like that, because he has "weird" in his name". *While that is being said, the pics and concert clips are shown* Not too bad a diss, but, we all know Al's hair is fabulous, and doesn't belong on this show!
Well, if anyone out there is lucky enough to get The Biography Channel, Florence Henderson's Biography special will air on 1/17 at 8 pm and again on 1/18 at midnight. Al comments on Florence and her role as the Amish woman who is supposed to represent Michelle Pfeiffer from the original Coolio video. All I can say is, I already have Al's comments on tape, and he had a faint but still visible goatee.
Not sure if anyone else has seen this or not, but I was just watching "David Spade's One Hit Wonderland" on VH1, and Al commented on OMC's "How Bizarre." He may have commented on other songs, but I'm not sure.
"How bizarre that they didn't have another hit....."
So, uh yea- There's something to look for in the future. I'm not seeing any future air dates for it at this time, but it's VH1...so who knows.
