But what is there to say about it besides that they obviously support this cause. Anything more than that gets into the political discussion, and the forum rules do not allow for it.
Forgive me, but I don't see any posts here arguing against Al's stance yet. We all seem to be in agreement, for now at least, so what's the harm?
Agreeing or disagreeing is stating YOUR political opinion. See my statement above.

Well, Well, Well wrote:pretty interesting pictures for al, it seems. but i don't understand why they have ducttape over their mouths. do those in support of gays have nothing to say, or is just some sort of shock-and-awe type identification with the campaign?
Are you not familiar with Adam Bouska's campaign? All of the photos are shot like that. It's hard to describe, but the duct tape has more to do with them not having a say in their own rights.

actually i first heard of "No H8" when tosh.0 did a bit on "what what in the butt", which led me to believe it was a joke reference towards people hating samwell because he was gay. i still don't understand the ducttape, lol, but that's okayy.

The duct tape represents having your opposition to Prop 8 silenced. What Al is saying with the poster is he doesn't think anyone should be silent on the fact that they support gay marriage. It should be celebrated and nobody should be embarrassed to talk about it. I think if Bobbi locks this topic, we will have to start a similar mouths-taped-shut campaign on WOWAY. :zipper:

Haha...I agree with Anna...his eyes do look cool in the photo.

It's also a neat way to pose prior to the Toy Story screening for the whole family. And whether I agree with the stance or Not, that's my view, it's nice to see that Al isn't worried any longer about his political views being known.

I do agree with Bobbi. It's not allowed on the forum to talk politics...so I definitely wouldn't see a problem with locking the topic if it gets to that. That may be the best idea, anyway...because some people could get supporting Al's picture, mixed up with supporting Al's view.

yeesh...I was about to ask that very same question in this post, but you beat me to it...I also applaud Al for making a strong sociopolitical view of his (and his family) known in a tasteful manner...the photos were very well done and I think they got the message across effectively...

Must be from the lighting they used, or some post production shenanigans.
