The 70s were such an unfortunate time, fashionwise.

Re: How many Weird Al concerts have you been to?
You know, I have all of Al's albums on CD, some on vinyl, all of his official DVDs, plenty of bootleg DVDs, t-shirts, 45s, the box set, and some VHS tapes. And guess how many Al shows I've been to? One. Now, that just ain't right.
I was lucky that his promoter changed that one Virginia date to a NC date back in '07, for if not my number might be zero.
When I was posting in the 'Whining' topic about a month ago, someone asked if it was okay to whine about not going to more than one show.
Hell no, it isn't.
I have no job, driver's license, or modes of transportation other than my parents, and none of my friends who do have those resources care about Al enough to want to see his show, so I can't do anything. Barely any of my favorite acts period come to my area, so while my mom, brother, and sister are going to 2-3 concerts a year, I've only done one a year. Being big into music, did you know how much that sucks?
I'm sorry for going off topic, but this whole thing where people brag about how many shows they've seen or complaining when they actually get to go to a show just pisses me off.

Re: How many Weird Al concerts have you been to?
But how do you really feel about it?
Hey, I feel your pain. I missed by a few months of ever, and I mean EVER, seeing one of my favorite lead singers perform with my fave band. He retired, and thanks to stupid late fandom, I'll never see him live. It does indeed suck. And it also blows.
