Drove to St. Paul tonight, getting up early in the morning to continue the long treck down to St. Charles. Dan decided to go to this one at the last minute after all. And it will be my friend Jade's first Al show! Decided she should go all out and go on a long long road trip to her first. Can't make this stuff easy on first time show goers...haha. See y'all tomorrow! I'll be wearing the bowling pins this time. Was quite upset with myself when I forgot that shirt on the east coast shows. Grrrr!
Okay, crowd here is great:) ppl behind me are really really into it! So...you make me, and good old days were done. Just got done with pitiful, next is dare to be stupid! Awesome show so far!!:) And yes, I know...this is pathetic...but I know these videos by heart. Lol
Great Show! First row center!! Al gave me lots of attention tonight He messed with me during Wanna B Ur Lovr and sang the whole end to me.
Bunch more stuff happened, but at the end he pointed at me and gave me a wink. It was so cute <3
We didn't get to see Al after the show, but we talked to Steve. He is so sweet! I'm gonna try to fit in one more show before this tour is over!
Thanks to my brother for this picture
You can use your ESP to learn to play guitar!
ARE YOU READY TO POLKA?!?!
Got into St. Louis around 3. Went to Six Flags until a quarter til' 5. Kinda empty there, so got to ride many coasters. Then, went onto hotel and then to arena. Got to the arena about time for doors to open. Found my friends inside in the front. Well, after Jared was standing in my way from getting to them....Awesome to see them again. Anna gave me my beautiful CNR shirt. Awesome! Then, we saw Steve on the side of the stage. Jared, Dan, Jade and I went over and spoke with Steve until the show was about to start...
Awesome show tonight...Steve had a ton of energy, which was very surprising after the story he told us after the show. Craigslist sounded a little weird tonight. Kind of interesting, though. Sounded a little more Doors-ish. Crowd was already standing for Cell Phones, so Al kind of improvised in that part. Was sitting right in front of Steve, so got a lot of attention tonight...Anna got a lot of attention during Wanna B Ur Lovr, which I was very happy about. There was also a Weird Al Bass-Drum Cover tonight!!! Had mentioned to Jon at Merillville that I thought they should get one...guess it was mentioned to the right person! It seemed to be the type of picture from the Poodle Hat album, with the hole of the bass drum through Al's cheek...which I'm sure whether should be counted along with the missing body part joke through the albums. Was very interesting to see that when I came in tonight...
After the show, tried to wait with pass people...thrown out. Went out by the bus, security guard eventually ran us off. Told us we couldn't stay there, Al had already left. We pointed out that his bus was still there...and he's like, "Oh". So, we went back to our car and waited. He eventually left, so we went back up and waited by the fence. Steve came out and we talked to him for awhile again. I kind of just stayed back to let people who hadn't the opportunity before to get to see Steve. He also handed out some copies of Physical Answer. Ruben came out and sold his CDs. Talked to each for awhile. Ruben then was real nice, and came out later to tell us that Al wouldn't be out. It was nice spending the evening with friends, and cool to get to see Steve as much as we did.

Are we talking about a bass (kick) drum? If so, that hole isn't for the microphone, it's for tonal quality and air pressure release... although it can double as a convenient place to put the microphone.
