Oh yeah by the way my tickets came in for this like a week ago. (Still nothing from OC Fair)
I couldn't tell a dirt clod from a plate of caviar.

Is anyone familiar with the tourist attractions in Ventura? If an out-of-towner were to spend the day in Ventura, what would you recommend?

Go to the beach. Tour the mission. Go antiquing. A day in Ventura wouldn't be a hardship at all.

I read about an old mission right in downtown Ventura that is over 225 years old, and it's still an active Catholic parish. That sounds like an interesting place to visit!

That's the one I was talking about. Worth a visit. From what I remember, there's quite a bit of shopping/window shopping/dining/drinking options in walking distance of the Majestic.

Yeah very strange circumstance. I ordered the tickets and got them less than a week later. Seems like the opposite of what everyone else is reporting. Maybe because I got the VIP tickets?

My tickets are VIP as well. And they were purchased mere minutes after they went on sale...
