wow...I wasn't expecting to see a topic for this show (it seems like nobody really gives a flying smurf about the Colorado shows) but I plan on saving up some money so I can attend since I live in Colorado and in all likeliness will be in that area for most of the summer...SO glad he added a CO show to this tour...I missed him on the SOL tour a few years back, but this may very well be the first ever time I've seen Al live in concert...finally, I have some reason to actually read the touring and live appearances thread...

Well, presale premium/VIP tickets are available for this show...I think I'll just wait until regular tickets become available since they would obviously be cheaper...this would be my first time seeing Al live in concert, so any insight into if that's actually how tickets work would be greatly appreciated...thanks...

Well, it is usually best if you can buy through the venue. I enjoy it when you can just call the Box Office, however, that doesn't seem like an option for this show. The tickets are being sold at a few different outlets around town, so if you're real close, I'd just go down and get them. However, I wouldn't go out of your way to get them.
The Premium page says the face value for the tickets is $49.50. Not sure what the convenience charges through TicketHorse are, but I would say that they would at least be $5. That's $54.50 or so, compared to the $64.50 through the WeirdAl Presale. Also, as long as it's not TicketMaster Online, you can usually get pretty good tickets through them, as well.
I'd say the best option is to just buy online through TicketHorse, and hope for the best. That's what I would do if I was attending this show.

I got tickets for this show last week, since then I think they increased prices on the Pre-Sale at weirdal.com, but I would still say you should try to get your tickets there (http://www.tickets.weirdal.com) because it's maybe $10 extra and it guarantees you a seat in the first 12 rows, rather then the vague 'orchestra' seating mentioned at the alternative. If the $10 is really important and the best seating isn't, then go to TicketHorse (http://www.tickethorse.com/event/weird-al-yankovic/353).

There's a slim chance I'll be at this one- I have family in Colorado, and I might be visiting again this summer.

If I had the money to throw around doing serious tour-chasing, yes... I would have phrased it that way lol. But, there was already talk of a short summer visit... so I might just align it with the concert date.fred27 wrote:you mean since your at a concert you might as well visit the family

My fiancee and I got our tickets for this show a few days ago and they just came in the mail. We are really looking forward to the show as this will be her first show (eicarlson92 for those who don't know her) and will be my third show. I didn't even think I was going to make it to any shows this leg of the tour...YAY!
