Of course I know what the show will be like after the first time I go to one, but it's been TWO YEARS since Al's been touring, so it would be refreshing for that first time around to be an actual fresh experience. The thing is, Al concerts only change from tour-to-tour, and they have a definite shape for every tour. Most other bands have a very loose set and it's typically okay if you hear about what they play because they change it up more often, but with Al, that rarely happens. If there's any "surprise" to the show, it'll have to be a dang special show. Other than that, what people have left is that we don't want to see the inevitable set before we go in. Being at the show without knowing that, at least you didn't get your pre-show hype excitement to die. I'm not saying it's life-changing; it's just better.
