So which one is being referred to here?

I finally checked out Rock On TV, and it is the Awesomely Bad Hair that will air (haha) on Tuesday, January 6th...

This is vH1 we're talking about, however..

Well, I guess with the new year we haven't seen the end of "The x Greatest..." countdowns on cable.

It seems as if Al will be on E!'s "101 Greatest Moments on SNL" countdown starting January 11. I am not 100 percent sure of this just yet, but on the commercials the network has been running there is a voice-over blurb saying "John Belusi was the wild man" that sounds very much like a certain pop parodist and "UHF" star.

I will once again state how sick I am of these pointless "pop-culture" countdown shows. "Coming in March on VH1: The 100 Greatest Guest Stars on 'Ally McBeal.'"

The only reason there were 100 guest stars is because nobody would watch without them. But the SNL one sounds fun. I'll have to watch that.
I'm ranking every Beatles song on my new pop culture blog. Check it out!

The SNL show sounds very interesting. Maybe after Al appears on this countdown, they'll actually let him appear on the real show! As for the Ally Mcbeal countdown, this is really starting to get pathetic. What's next? The Top 100 Ways to Make A Spam Sandwich countdown?! :P
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

If you re-read my post, I said that after he appears on the countdown, maybe SNL will finally invite him onto the actual show.

The SNL one is real, but the Ally one was a joke.

I don't know how the list will go, but I have a feeling there will be a mix of guest-star moments and non-guest-star moments (such as Belushi singing as Joe Cocker, etc.).

I am not an avid E! watcher (if I want to see the rise and fall of a once-promising star, I'll watch Drew Carey repeats), but I could have sworn I heard that E! will now be the only network to rerun SNL since Comedy Central has picked up "Mad TV." I'm not saying that makes this countdown necessary, but the seemingly sudden timing makes a little more sense now.

CD, I heard that ad multiple times, and if it isn't Al saying the John Belushi thing, then I don't know what his voice sounds like. I might have to turn in my AL Gal credentials.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who caught the ad. I just remember during the "Oops" specials that there was one other person on there that kinda sorta sounded like Al if you weren't really paying attention, but after a couple of listens to this SNL ad I am completely sure it is in fact Al. That slight mid-sentence "drop" in his pitch is unmistakable.
