Concidering this one. I hear Winnipeg crowds are pretty tight so this should be a good show! Dunno if I'll be able to afford this concidering the passport situation however...

Yes, there's the automotic spell-cheker of the forum...John!!

Anyway, went to this show last tour and it was a great place. It was the first time that Al had performed Canadian Idiot in Canada, and we ate dinner in a steakhouse beside the venue. During dinner, they played a few Al songs.

Doubt we'll make it back to this, unless there are other shows out there, such as Ft. Yates??, Please??, put around that time...just please no Fargo, I don't want to race with the horses in jail, anymore...

I Love the fact that Winnipeg is on this tour. I already have my tickets and I'm counting the days.

Okay, I knew there had to be one: the bad-ish review.
Welcome to the Weird Al Yankovic show. We are now 30 years into one of the most stubbornly successful careers in the both the music and the comedy biz and the joke, incredibly, hasn't worn off... even though sometimes, it seems like it should have.

And a much better one, from the same concert:
he is amazing live and delivers more show for the dollar than just about anyone I have ever seen.
AND
to top it all off, his band is jaw-droppingly good.

And I Shall Reply Orthography Enthusiast,

Being in the front row was great. I have been to all of Al's shows in Winnipeg. Overall the show was great (as usual) with Al and the band.
At the beginning of this show there seemed to be a lower energy drive with the band.( Other shows they are normally revved up.) After the third song they moved into high gear and the show was flawless.

I loved the oldies and the new Polka Face song. I am glad that this time I did not get streamers shot into my face (unlike two years ago).
And the extended Yoda chant was awesome.

I can't wait until the new album is released.
