Hey, I mentioned this in the "I Hate Artist Arena" thread but not everyone reads that, so I thought I'd let you all know that Al and Jay Levey have switched from Artist Arena to a company called PAID.
PAID handles Aerosmith and Moody Blues, among others.
The presales through PAID are blind, meaning you don't know exactly where your seat is right when you purchase it. I know some of you don't like not knowing where your seat is, but Jay did point this out:
"While one is not able to purchase specific seats through our new system, we've made sure that specific requests (i,e, aisle seats, specific sections) can be made in a special COMMENTS box at the point of purchase, which would be addressed when tix are allotted. Fulfilling these requests can't be guaranteed, but every effort would be made. There's also actually in some cases a plus to there not being specific seats for sale, which is that where our allotment for VIP tix and straight tix are all in the same section(s), once most of the VIP Packages have been sold and if there are still remaining seats that were originally allocated for those, we will move everyone who bought straight tix up to fill them. Versus -- with specific seats sold -- the best seats for straight ticket sales are fixed, behind the VIP's."
So, we've got that going for us. Here's hoping PAID will be a better experience than Artist Arena!
Cheers,
Vikki
