Regarding Tony's question, I bought a ticket for an Iowa show from Maria last tour, who could not attend, and then it turned out I couldn't attend, either. I really wanted to because that was the show where my brother was the Darth Vader on the stage, and then at the last minute one of the Stormtroopers had to cancel, so my niece got to fill in. Would have loved to have been there!

Circle, row CC, seats 9 and 10. I had to get the *rackafracka * VIP package to get these, as the presale was already sold out. My penance for not checking the forum on an hour by hour basis.

Have you ever wasted money on a concert ticket you wound up not being able to use?

Ayup. Saturday, July 21, 2007, Costa Mesa. The concert took place while I circled, and circled, and circled the fairgrounds looking for parking.

Plus there was June 27, 2008, in Henderson NV, where I missed my flight by about 5 minutes and decided to go ahead and drive. Starting from LAX at 3 pm on a Friday. Took me 6 hours. I snuck into my 3rd row seat during Smells Like Nirvana. So I consider I only got to use half that ticket.

I had a ticket for May 8, 2007 in Baltimore, MD at Rams Head Live and I couldn't make it. Just had tons of stuff going on locally. Definitely pained me to just have to sit and look at the unused ticket.

That's usually how it goes for at least some of us. Me, probably not. I've been to the fair gazillions of times, and I usually just go once with my free admission from submitting to the photo gallery.
