And yes, Dave--Where is that "I hate Artist Arena" topic? I did buy the VIP tickets this time, but probably only once, so that means we're going to be screwed out of the best seats with all the back and forth shenanigans with the stupid pre-sales (sometimes 2 or 3 different pre-sales per concert!). I really resent the way this works. You should be able to get the good seats first come, first served.

For anyone who isn't following me on Twitter or Facebook, I want to officially say that I have my ticket for the concert.
Now we'll see how I'll get there. XD

I'm not proud of this, but back when I was living in Chicago, I bought a ticket to a Minnesota show on (I think) the '03 tour, but then I was forced to blow it off because I lacked the resources to actually GET there.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? Have you ever wasted money on a concert ticket you wound up not being able to use?

I was initially horribly shocked by the VeryInflatedPrice and woe betide anyone I know who gets a "better" seat .. I might have to bite you or give you a Chinese Burn

Yes. I bought a ticket for the 2003 Vacaville show, but I couldn't come out to California because I had a new job and I couldn't get away. I had to eat the ticket but at least I was able to fly somewhere else at a later date.

I got tickets to the show two summers ago in Ventura, and I was going to take girlfriend to her first Weird Al show. However, I was presented with the opportunity to shoot a promotional video for a teen travel camp all throughout Europe for two months, all expenses paid.

The tickets went to someone on Craigslist, I got my money back, and the camp director felt bad so she got my girlfriend and me two tickets to see Eric Clapton at Hyde Park.

Oh I stink! I was an idiot and didn't realize there was a password on the pre-sale (duh on my part)...I had great seats until it asked me for a password....well then I called (another big duh) and the guy was like yeah we don't have the password...so I was smart and facebooked for the password and "The Doctor" swooped in on his Tardis and saved the day But then I might have been too hasty to get tickets right away and I might be waaay off to the side now (Triple DUH).

Does anyone know how many seats across section 1is? If it is 25 across my seats are OK but it is like 15 across they might be bad....I have seats 13 and 14...oh well if they are bad I'll be abe to hear at least and watch all of you guys in the really nice seats I might just try to hit another concert on the tour this time too! I hope he comes to Vegas this time!!
