Weird Al Joins Rifftrax For Live Show!

Post by mrmeadows »

As a Weird Al and MST3K junkie, this is irresistible:

I went to a Rifftrax Live event last month where they riffed on Plan 9 from Outer Space. It was a lot of fun! This promises to be even better!

Saw that info on twitter. The closest theatre to me is 24 miles away, and it's an IMAX! I must try and find some people to take me there.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

Hmmm. Two of the theaters in my city. I'll have to see what I can do.

I saw Rifftrax Plan 9 last month too; they were recording it from Nashville, in front of a live audience. Does anyone know how to find out where they're recording live from this time, and/or how to get tickets to THAT?

Where's the link to the list of theaters?
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

Go to that website, right below that big graphic is a selection for the date and your zip code, then hit "buy tickets" (you don't actually have to buy them, of course).

My closest one is 15 minutes from my house... I might go if I can find other people. It would have been cooler if they offered tickets to where they're actually taping it. I feel like I'm being cheated by watching it in a theatre since I'm so close to wherever they actually are!

If you go here:

http://www.ncm.com/Fathom/Comedy/RiffTr ... _Live.aspx

you can put your zip in and see a list of theatres. I found out it is showing at the theatre right by my house!! I am not really a huge fan of MST3K but I just might make it this.

Hey, does anyone remember when Weird Al did a RiffTrax on Jurassic Park? Ads were all over YouTube. :detective:
How old was that last signature? I mean, really?

That was a classic.
