He always hits Philly, usually several times. This area seems to be pretty big for him, tourwise. And since he rarely does NYC it's not a bad trip for those fans to come down.HappyGilmore @ August 11, 2009 09:36 am wrote: Hopefully he hits the Philly/Jersey area. Last time around, scheduling didn't allow me to see him in either Wildwood or in Philly. But I noticed he hit like, Scranton and Philly last tour, so hoping.

Hey, my house has a patio. He can come tour my house. (I mean, as long as we're asking...

To tour Europe there would have to be a VERY significant increase in demand. Al himself said only something like 6 venues were interested last time a Euro tour was talked about. Considering the VAST cost and complexity of Euro transportation issues I am SO not holding my breath... The logistics of a UK gig are so problematic for me anyway that I might as well come to the USA where I have friends to go with The idea of trying to go to a gig alone in London, and get home in one piece frankly terrifies me quite apart from the near impossibility of being able to get tickets without a credit card. Most concerts are sold out within half an hour mostly to ticket touts anyway
Al doesnt seem to get to choose where to go though in general. During Alfest, talk turned to this subject and the concensus was that the greatest demand was usually in the NE and mid-West and that he was less popular in the Southern States. I'm not sure how that works out and maybe people would disagree. However looking at the last tour itinerary it certainly seems the Southern States were under represented. Maybe those will be a priority this time around as the fans there have been waiting longer?

I actually agree with this. It seems Al only hits states like GA, TN, etc, during the second leg of the tour. For once, I'd like to see a show on the first leg of the tour, instead of the second. I almost went to the Pigeon Forge show in 2007, but I'm glad I didn't after hearing about what a bad venue it was.ludovica64 @ August 12, 2009 01:20 am wrote: However looking at the last tour itinerary it certainly seems the Southern States were under represented. For the last two tours before the SOL tour, Al's played Nashville. For the last tour, he played only Pigeon Forge and Knoxville. Two cities that are kind of close to each other. Personally, I find that a little unfair.
