Good job on the lyrics, caseyk27. One tiny little correction. This is what I hear for one of the lines:

SPOILER Every day he'd make the host of Match Game give him a piggy-back ride
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

I'm...not as excited as I was after hearing the preview. Don't get me wrong, I'll still buy it, but Charles Nelson Reilly (sp?) isn't really famous for anything besides always being on Match Game. Those who don't know...find an episode of Match Game on Game Show Network, and catch CNR and Richard Dawson.

...and he's been dead for two years, for those who may not know.

That is soo not true, babadavis1. He was in one of my favorite old tv series, The Ghost and Mrs. Muir, and was also on a few variety shows *I remember him from Laugh-In* and some other tv series back in the 70's *The Love Boat, for example* . And hey, if people who don't know who he is do look him up, they'll know how ridiculous this song is.

For the young, CNR is indeed known for more than Match Game(which BTW is the greatest game show of all time :) ). He was very active in theatre both as a director and actor. He also did tons of TV and movie stuff as well(he was the voice of the Dirty Bubble on Spongebob before Tom Kenny took over). He did things as late as 2006(died in May 2007). I suppose you young folks might not get this as much, but oldsters like me might appreciate this one. Also, a 30 second clip is not always indicative of an entire song. Tthere will be a larger funny point in this song. We shall see Tuesday!

Definitely agree with this.

While CNR was known for other things (his work in theater is what I found out about him after first watching classic Match Games on GSN), he will always be known first and foremost as a quirky panelist from Match Game. That was his biggest claim to fame by far.

For those of you who do not know who CNR is, definitely check out some episodes of Match Game from the 70s before this song comes out on Tuesday. It will SERIOUSLY add to the humor of the subject matter if you know what kind of guy we're talking about here.

People keep mentioning Chuck Norris. I am perfectly familiar with CNR, but where is everybody getting the connection to Chuck Norris? Could someone please explain what Chuck Norris has to do with this?

I think even if people don't know who Charles Nelson Reilly was, they will still find the Chuck Norris-esque facts funny. I didn't know who he was, and I was laughing at those facts when I was listening to the clip.

From what I heard, he definitely nailed the White Stripes' style. I can't wait to see the video.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

I hate when people make this argument. I mean yeah, I guess you could still find it funny but you'd be missing the point of the song. Why not do a bit of research? It's like when people were saying a year after SOL came out "Wow I just listened to Trapped In The Closet and it makes Drive-Thru wayyyy funnier!!!" No kidding.
