Re: NYT articles
Or maybe Robbie Woliver REALLY did his homework. Also on the site there is MUSIC; A Master of Parody, Weird Like a Fox. It's really a very praising article once you get done playing the ever so fun and popular game of "spot the mistake."
Menudo? :dontgetit:No one is spared, from Madonna to Nine Inch Nails, with Alanis Morrisette and Menudo thrown in for good measure
http://www.al-oholicsanonymous.com/interviews/wonc.txtI'm in Menudo right now. That's right. I finally was able to join Menudo as their new lead singer. I'm very proud of that.

I was just lurking over on AMW-A and saw where Marty Lick had posted a link to Al's latest appearance in the Onion: http://www.theonionavclub.com/avclub390 ... _3905.html
The question was: "Who could you take in a fight?" I'll let you read Al's answer for yourselves, but I noticed that Eddie Vedder was asked the same question, and did not choose Weird Al. Whew!

Did you read Emo's answer? LOL! Did you read Josh Whedon's answer? YIKES!!
I think if Eddie V. and Al had the "fight" that Eddie described, Al would definately win.
The Onion needs a new picture of Papa Yankovic.

Well, maybe, but he'd probably have more fun taking on the Olsen twins. But the thing I noticed is that at least Eddie isn't going around dreaming of taking a chunk out of Al's hide in recompense for his Weird-Al-conferred zydeco notoriety.I think if Eddie V. and Al had the "fight" that Eddie described, Al would definitely win.
And they'll get one, I'm sure. But we want ours first-- on the album. In the meantime maybe they could just airbrush in some dark circles under his eyes? I don't suppose Al really looks much different now than he did in 1999, except for the now-you-see-it, now-you-don't goatee and possibly the sleep deprivation. The Onion needs a new picture of Papa Yankovic.

Strange that you say NTTH isn't real, because a DVD issue is planned to come out soon...with some pretty unimaginative cover art, I might add. No release date is known as of yet.

The description on the back of the box:
In the early 1980s, a slew of horror movies "in 3-D" came into (motion) picture. Most of these films have been forgotten over the years. There are only a few exceptions, one of them being Nature Trail to Hell (which might as well have been forgotten had it not been for the inclusion of the title theme on a "Weird Al" Yankovic record, In 3-D).
Nature Trail to Hell is about a Boy Scout troop on an expedition that leads the Scouts to their bloody death.
Nature Trail to Hell Part II was filmed, but the tapes have been lost over the years.
SPECIAL FEATURES
-----------------------
*Digitally restored picture and soundtrack
*Audio-only version of Weird Al's "Nature Trail to Hell"

Good job, Anthony! If I'm not mistaken, that release date is Feb. 29, 2003. And if it's not released on that exact date, then it won't ever be. Weird contractual thingy.

Which would be good for 2 reasons:
1:Another Al related item (no matter how small a relation)
2: I wouldnt hae to wait another year to become 6
