One of my favorite comments from Al's myspace page. This is from the main page, not the video page. I know this gal from Weird Al's Stupid Club. *waves to Jesamy*

Skipper Dan just made my world. I work at Disney World and I've always wanted to transfer over to Jungle Cruise from Toontown because of my acting background. haha....Al you make my world all the time. I can't wait to be able to download that song and show everyone. Its absolutely amazing. I ride Jungle Cruise all the time. I can't wait to show people at Disney World this song.

What kind of snake is this...begins with a P....python? Noooo...its PLASTIC.
The back side of water!!!

I like this song a lot musically but I was confused because I've never been to Disneyland/World or any theme park that has had one of those rides. The only theme park we have close by is World of Fun and that's just rides.

But I learned it was based off one of the rides at Disney and you actually have to have an acting degree for that is amusing. It's more of a situational comedy than laugh out loud at every line kind of thing.

I appreciate it more now that I understand the background on it.

"The backside of water"? Can anyone explain that to me?

When you are traveling under a waterfall, you'd be seeing the backside of the water.

Nice review, Louise! Very well written.

That's great that you pointed Jesamy over to the video. Helen quoted her response from the video page when she posted the best of myspace comments from Disney employees. I'm guessing this was her initial response, and the quote I posted was more like a thank you to Al. Here's Jesamy's quote from the video page:

I work at Disney World in Toontown but I ride Jungle Cruise allllll the time. I've always wanted to transfer over there because of my acting experience. . . I mean. . this song is my life story. . . except I haven't made it there yet.
This song didn't just make my day, it made my life.
Al's the best.

He certainly is the best! It's so nice that he's written yet another anthem. LOL!

I'm so glad so many people are embracing this song!

Two things:

1: Al has taken vocal lessons since he started, so that has made his singing better, along with dropping the nasally voice.

2: I always thought Al over enunciates when he talks and sometimes when he sings. I was watching TWAS w/ commentary yesterday and it was excrutiating on the last 2 episodes.

That was definitely nothing special. Sure, the music was nice and catchy, but the lyrics weren't great and I didn't laugh once.
