Oh, I wouldn't say "Twine" leaned more toward Harry Chapin. It reminds me of The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald..a lot. I don't think it'll be a Lightfoot style parody. I'd lean toward Jimmy Buffet, too.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:
"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11
So awesome!

There's no actual article. Steve must be talking about this. On the bottom there's a "subscribe to this artist's feed" link. That should give you an alert next time a song is added to the website.caseyk27 @ July 08, 2009 09:35 pm wrote: I tried Google searching different variations on "Rolling Stone + 'Weird Al' Yankovic + Skipper Dan" and I'm pretty sure I didn't find Happy Steves' article,
...but last.fm MAY already have the song (or at least a preview clip of it) although that site's such a mess I didn't find it at all...

Have I got the concept of style parodies wrong, aren't they from artists that Al was particularly a fan of. Is he a fan of Jimmy Buffett?
I would LOVE to have Al do a Jimmy Buffett-style song. He's a great guy, and I'm still waiting to go to his free concert after the Chicago Cubs win the World Series someday...

So I was searching up "Skipper Dan" and I found a link to a last.fm page that various listened to Weird Al songs, and one of them was "Skipper Dan - band demo". So I clinked on the google cache link for the page:
http://74.125.47.132/search?q=cache:8IX ... =firefox-a
So I searched that page and also saw "Craigslist - band demo". But then I also noticed something listed as "Ringtone band demo". Could one of the new songs be titled "Ringtone" or perhaps Al created something that is a ringtone. Maybe Al recorded "Cellphones" to be a ringtone. It should also be noted that the Ringtone one does not have a hyphen between the title and the phrase "band demo".
