I think we all would love to see Al singing the fast part from Hardware Store. Or maybe even have the boys in the band help al out so they could go in a line over and over, like: Jim: allen wrenches, Bermuda: gerbil feeders, Al: toilet seats, Steve: electric heaters, Ruben: trash ... you get the idea. That'd be neat too.

True, but a live concert is much more draining than being in a studio. He did hold the note on Spy hard . It's possible he could do it all in one breath. Though for the best sound I'm sure he did it in sections.millie @ Dec 17 2003, 03:26 AM wrote: Yes, but me and my friend noticed that in concert the band sing a section of the fast bit in Horoscopes while he takes a breath.

Yeah, during "Let me give you my assurance..." TBITB sing while Al takes a deep breath. I'm sure he could do it in one breath, but why kill himself if he doesn't have to?millie @ Dec 16 2003, 07:26 PM wrote: Yes, but me and my friend noticed that in concert the band sing a section of the fast bit in Horoscopes while he takes a breath.
And AWPB, it's not necessary to quote the song, we all know it.

I have tried to sing the fast part in HS many many times, but I have never succeeded. I always start mixing all my words together, and it ends up sounding like a giant tongue twister gone horribly wrong. I don't know how Al did it, but he never ceases to amaze me.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

That "verse" makes me wonder if Al is human. To do that without breathing is amazing.XThe_HazMatX @ Jan 3 2004, 04:48 PM wrote: That part isn't really any faster than rest of the song, but it just seems faster because the music dies down some. It's the length that gets me.

Are we sure it wasn't edited? I'm not trying to question Al's talent, but that's really hard to do.

No, we have speculated that there was some editing done, but know one knows for sure. I think several people have "Asked Al" but so far there has been no answer. If he can do it he is certainly amazing!ThewEiRdOne27 @ Jan 3 2004, 11:14 PM wrote:
