Naked Gun 4

From what I understand this project is only in development. It's questionable whether it will ever actually go into production, let alone if Al will be in it. This is the type of thing Al was talking about when he said Hollywood is a place that projects are come and go all the time...

Didn't Al say during his chat with Seth Green that it was himself (Al) who called the NG producers and asked if he could be in it??

That was concerning the previous Naked Guns, not necessarily this one.

But if Al gets wind of it (or already has) he may ask...

Edit: Having watched the live Ask Al broadcast recently (I ended up missing most of it live) I realize that he won't be asking for a part in the next one. Apparently he's waiting for them to ask this time.

And one key thing to consider is that Al was friends and had worked with the producer of the first "Naked Gun" and asked because he was a fan of the filmmakers. It doesn't sound as if any of those people are involved with this new one.

So is the movie just going to be called "Naked Gun 4," or are they going to call it "Naked Gun 4 1/4" to keep with the tradition in the titles?

I reckon it should be something like Naked Gun 4 4/44". Keeping with the two 2s and three 3s pattern?

I think it should be called "Not Another Naked Gun Movie" and it's a style parody of Leslie Neilsen movies. That's the only way it'd be good.

Back when the third one first came out, the cast and crew were doing a group interview on (I believe) Oprah, and someone joked that if a fourth one was made it would be called "Naked Gun 4: Beating a Dead Horse."

According to IMDB, it will be called "Naked Gun: What 4? The Rhythm of Evil." What a stupid title.
