Hardware Store is funny because of how fast Al sings it, not really because of the lyrics.

Syndicated Inc. is also a list song. As well as just a plain bad song.

Bob is pretty good, and it's just a list of palindromes. The thing that makes it funny is the way it's sung (like Hardware Store). Most of the time the lyrics themselves are just icing on the cake for me, as far as why I like or dislike a Weird Al song.

Bob is a song that doesn't really do well with repeat listens. Once you understand it's all palindromes it's like... what else is there to get out of it?

I disagree. I think the humor of Bob has little to do with the palindromes and more to do with the way Al sings the lyrics -- the Dylan imitation is the main joke of the song for me. The lyrics only enhance that joke.

That being said, I don't think the Jim Morrison impression is going to sell "Craigslist" for anyone. I am hoping the subject matter is more than just a list of things you can buy/sell/do on the site.
