Hmmm... I saw that episode but didn't really notice Al.
I've been pretty disappointed with "Billy and Mandy" so far. The new show is just not as good as Grim and Evil. I'm not sure why- weak plots?
I loved Grim and Evil. but Billy and Mandy is just not up to snuff. Here's hoping they improve!
My favorite episode of Grim and Evil was "Little Rock of Horrors". This was musical with a very catchy swing-y song by a group called Voltaire. They've even included this song on one of their albums! (called 'Boo Hoo', in case you're interested)

Ooh I can splain stuff....better do this quick i have to go watch teen titans.
Billy and Mandy is a ren and stimpy/invader zim type of show [because of the bizarre humor].
It is about two ids.One is not very bright and mandy a creepy blond. They once made a bet with the grim reaper and if he looses he must be there friend....he lost.So now he baby sits them and "plays" with em all the time.I use to have lots of respect for the show but it got too stupid for my taste.Al was the role of a squid hat in a Harry Potter ripoff episode when Grim replaces Billy and Mandy`s summer camp passes to going to Toadblott`s school of wizardry [why if there ever wasn`t a whiz that was!].Al lampoons the sorting hat from Harry Potter 1.
Except he is a guitar playing,[weird al playing something besides SLN on guitar, that will be the day -.- ]singing, talking squid hat that chooses where the students go.
Here is a clip
al:this one goes to gonderstank....gonderstank...gonderstank......wait this one is a empty vessel if you know what I mean
toadblott:you mean he is open for learning?
al:better send him to weaselthorp
toadblott:NO!I hate that place. They wrote my name on the bathroom walls [not direct quote]
al:no![in gossipy type tone]
al:so your next mandy [not direct quote]
mandy:good I am in for calimari.
:al gets frightened:
al:just send her to weaselthorp!!!!
That was MUCH better than that wandering minstrel dumbness on Lilo and Stitch [ no offence but I found it disturbingly scary..the tra la la was funny though]
now ya know.Thanx for reading the topic....this thing is pretty much dead and buried.
-NNY27[the name I SHOULDVE picked]
who will be now watching teen titans.if you need to talk IM me on oturtle

It's been a while since "Grim Adventures..." has been brought up, but Cartoon Network has an online poll up now asking visitors which original series they want to see released on DVD.
There of course would be no guarantee that Al's episode would be in the first release, but still, voting for "Billy and Mandy" in the poll would just be one step closer in making it happen.
The poll pops up automatically if you go to Cartoon Network's web site. But for those of you with no patience for that kinda stuff, the direct URL to the poll is below, but it looks a little odd when shown in a normal browsing window, just FYI:

Ex-squeaze me? Baking powder? ((Wayne's World moment, sorry.)) Billy and Mandy ROCKS. It's one of the only decent American cartoons left. I agree, Zim was probably the best ever, simply because of it's amazing art, but give B&M some credit too. And admit it, you laughed at Chickenball Z just as much as the next guy.al fan300 @ Dec 17 2003, 01:32 AM wrote: trust me it`s not too good any more.i liked invader zim and teen titans more. But you can pm me on that.
Meanwhile, I'm going to be sure to see it next Friday, and tape that Al episode! Woohoo!

EDIT: Oh, and by "American cartoons", I was comparing it to anime. Which is, in my opinion, supirior to most of our cartoons. I didn't mean any offence by it. ^^;;
Are we playin' horseshoes, honey? No, I don't think we are...
