According to their site, Al will be at BOTCON(Transofrmers) in Pasadena for those close enough and want to attend:

I'd be tempted to go and just say Hi to Al (because I'm not feeling any really pressing need for another autograph right now) but his time is so limited there, if I got in that line I'd probably be taking the spot of somebody who's never met Al and really should have the chance. So I guess I'll stay home. The panel does sound interesting, though.
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

I was just going to make a thread about this. I'm not going to be able to go, but at least I might catch some videos on YouTube afterwards...

Dangit. I went to Botcon the past two years, but no Al. The year I choose not to go... Al goes. Anyway, I'm glad that the Botcon organizers have finally reached out to Al and brought him in, as lots of TF fans will be excited to see him.

Aw man! Not only will Al be there, but Stan Bush AND Vince DiCola will be there! I can't go due to its location. BLAST!

I didn't even know this thing existed. See how the inclusion of Al brings awareness to the knowledgeless?

The Botcon schedule is up at Botcon.com. As you can see, in addition to autographs for Primus package holders (the top level of tickets, which includes all access and a special collector's set of toys), Al will also be participating in a panel about Transformers animated, as well as David Kaye, a regular voice actor for the show. The panel will be from 12-12:50 on Saturday the 30th, and is open to everyone, including walk-up attendees.

A sorta live blog of Al's panel. At least now we know the circumstances of his Wreck Gar tweet.
