I didn't catch the whole story but on Keith Oberman's show on MSNBC last nite there was some story about some truck driver that did something (sorry only caught the last couple seconds) and at the end they played "Truck Driving Song". Thought that was interesting. :w

Cool. Hey, we should have a thread for posting when Al songs are used in the media for various purposes, such as this.

Oh, and speaking of, I just saw this game at a local bookstore. :Y

That's cool, pud93.

What a great find, Jeremy!
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

Jeremy, I saw that in some nostalgia catalog last week (next to edible underwear of all things, which made it a bit disturbing--apparently the sort of cat ladies that read that kind of catalog have a desperate need for both products).
Dave? Hello Dave? Is Dave there? There's a block in your t'ilet.

Yeah, a few months ago I posted somewhere on this form (the "Generic Al Blather" topic, perhaps?) that I heard Olbermann play "Amish Paradise" over a story he was doing on. . .well, something to do with the Amish.

I'm guessing Keith, or someone who works on his show, must be an Al fan. :Y

Wow I can't believe this thread already exists. I agree with Jeremy, we should have a thread for instances where Weird Al is mentioned on MSNBC, CNN, or FOX (or in the news at all).

I once heard "Eat It" on 1600 with David Shuster, and I've heard "Amish Paradise" at least once or twice on Countdown. Can't recall any other times, but it would be funny to keep track of which network is most Al-friendly. B)

The thread name should probably change (spelled his name wrong), but I really like the implications of how it's worded already: "Al on... Keith Olbermann?!? "

"Eat It" was used on... Regis and Kelly maybe. one of those morning shows. It was used around Thanksgiving.
"Did you see Journey to the Center of the Earth?"
"I did!"
"Me neither...wait..."
"You had that planned didn't you?"
"..yeah.."

Let's hope it isn't Fox News. |)

Anyway, this is kind of off-topic, yet on-topic at the same time. I spotted this on YouTubes 'Video Being Watched' tab:

Not only are Al and Keith on there, but The Young Turks too! Triple threat action-o-mania! :great:
