You don't say no to Rob Zombie. We've all learned that the hard way at one point or another.
Interestingly enough, Al has parodied Rob Zombie in the past - his gutteral "YEAH!" vocals on "Pentiums" (the ones Bermuda mouthed in a cubicle in the video) were a reference to Zombie's part on the "Benjamins" radio single.
Honestly, I'm not actively WISHING Al's character to die. I'm just saying that it's a gruesome bloody horror flick, so don't be surprised.

Just gonna stand there and watch me burn...that's alright because I like the way it hurts...

Michael doesn't walk through TV audiences and decide, "Hey! I'm gonna kill you now!." He's more of a lurker/shadow/stalker type. As I said before, he's after Loomis and will probably wait until after the show to do what he's gonna do.FredHuggins @ March 23, 2009 11:32 pm wrote:
Yeah, whoever heard of an innocent bystander? That's just nonsense!

"Spy Hard" is a comedy. It was for comedic effect. That's entirely different, IMO.
Well, we still haven't heard "Orgy on my Own".FredHuggins @ March 23, 2009 11:32 pm wrote: Anyway, I think we ALL lost the ability to fall back on calling Al "family-friendly" after he released WBUL.

I, for one, am really hoping that Al dies in a horribly gruesome way. The more disgusting it is, the more it will appeal to me. Knowing Rob Zombie's directorial skills and his usual art direction/cinematography style, I think seeing one of my favorite celebrities of all time be mutilated and maimed would be absolutely hilarious.
Al, if you're reading this, I'm sorry. But I'm sure you'd feel the same way.

Hahah I'm having a really good laugh reading this thread. I'm sure Al would be thrilled to be horribly mutilated in a Rob Zombie film! Just the sort of thing that appeals to him, I'd say, but I'm not sure that would add greatly to the films scary credentials. I think everyone would laugh themselves sick, as we are, as FredHuggins pointed out, so used to Al doing that sort of thing anyway that it would be hysterically funny, probably to the detriment of the overall arc of the story. I can't think anyone would feel upset..? surely not? Al would love a gory death scene I'm sure!

I hate to rain on anybody's parade, but I think there's probably another answer to this. Al is strictly a comedian. It would seem way out of place to have him in a horror movie. Not because of his supposed "family friendly" persona, but because of his comedy. I just don't see it. It would be like Leslie Neilson showing up in the next "Saw" movie.
There's likely another answer to this. Maybe Al is directing a music video for the movie's soundtrack or something. Or maybe it's something completely unrelated to "Halloween." This could just be a coincidence that they are working together.

D'ya think Al's doing a Rob Zombie style parody?

Al's not "strictly" anything IMO.. he can do anything he's asked to do and make a decent go of it as he has proved over and over. Who wouldn't want to work with him?
Ultimately we have to Wait And See to see whats really going on, but you have to admit it is fun having something to speculate wildly about! LOL
