One of the things that really annoyed me is in Smells Like Nirvana, where he phoenetically sings "bargle nargle zouss" instead of mumbling it incoherently.
But he did redeem himself when he forgot the last verse and just stood there staring at us.
Personally, I can't get enough of his concert only songs, like the live version of It's Still Billy Joel To Me. I like the new Theme for Home Improvement and Gee, I'm a Nerd.
Come to think about it, I would like to see Al produce a live album and a boxed set of rarities.
Rarities rule!

I have been to two concerts and I have to say that they are very good. I think that they are just a little bit better than the cd's cause there is more to see and sumtimes he comes down into the audience. The concert that i went to this summer I TOUCHED HIS HAND!!! That was very exciting for me. So I think that whoever doesn't like concerts as much as cds you are NOT a true weird al fan.

I would have to agree with you that seeing him in concert is better then listening to him. I got to touch him too, when he came down for OMM. And, I have the great boxers (which is now signed by Al, and is on my shelf  ). I don't think it is fair to say that if you don't like the concert version, you are not a true Al fan, some people might rather like listening to him, and thats fine.
Almost all of us here like the concert better than the CD's; including me. Who wouldn't like Al better in concert? Sure he's able to use his full vocal range on the CD's, but its better to see him LIVE.
I like Melanie better live than the recorded version but there are some songs like Fat that lose the sound when they are performed live. Like Fat live you know is a Michael Jackson parody but it loses the specific instruments that Jackson used.
