I'm really glad Al didn't get hurt in any way. and how come when someone like Paris Hilton or Lindsey Lohan get in a car Accident its all over the news for a week, when Al does, it doesn't even get a mention?

Because it wasn't Al's fault.

Lindsay and Paris do stupid stuff all the time and chances are if they're in a wreck it's their fault.

Yeah, I wondered the same thing... like, I remember when Johnny Depp crashed his car and it was everywhere, and at first I was all "hey, that's not really fair!!"

But then I thought about it, and if I was in a car crash, I sure wouldn't want it to be all over the news

Because Al has an oustanding record as a human being (versus those other "celebrities"), possesses a respected personality, and is gifted with an awesome life ... and is therefore not normally cannon foder for the newest "Enquirer" story.

Why go digging up trash on the world's best parodist when there are so many other idiots just waiting for their fifteen seconds?

Was Al so calm becuase he was quietly suveying the scene picking out parody material to use this experience in a positive way?
