I've never heard of this thing before, but our boy will be making an appearance at Alice Cooper's third annual Christmas Pudding.

http://www.alicepudding.com/pudding.html

On the ingredients page, Al is listed as one of many "musical ingredients"--so it seems like he'll be performing.

(I wasn't sure if this should go in General Chat, Tour Talk, or Media Al--so mods, move it at your discretion.)
I'm ranking every Beatles song on my new pop culture blog. Check it out!

That's a neat thing. If you live in or can visit Phoenix and you have $100 you can mingle and enjoy hors d'oeuvres with the celebrities.

Alice is a charitable guy.
This means something. This is important.

Will it be televised, do you think? I mean, it sounds great, but I'm not sure that my parents would appreciate me taking 100 bucks out of my college savings account and hitch hiking into Arizona.

It looks like basically a live music-and-comedy variety show put on as a fundraiser for a youth foundation in AZ. With maybe a little party mixed in if you're affluent enough.

Presumably they used the "Christmas Pudding" theme because everybody is so tired of Nutcracker-themed events, and nobody wanted to be the Sugar Plum Fairy. :P

Does America even have Christmas pudding? As in, the pudding? I adored the stuff when I lived in the UK, and now I can't find it anywhere! I want my Christmas pudding! And mince pies! And Christmas crackers! And custard! You Yanks have no idea what you're missing out on!

OK, OK, let's stay on topic here.

My mom used to make mince pies. I think you can buy the filling canned, or at least you could 35 or 40 years ago... :lookround:

Crackers are easy. Cost Plus or Pier One probably have them. I've actually seen them lots of places. *BANG!*

Supposedly (at least according to Google, I haven't checked it out myself) there's a place in Fullerton called the British Grocer that will probably provide all your UK Christmas needs. And while you're up here in North County, you can stop by Virgin or FYE and buy another copy or three of Poodle Hat. :P

Well, Al is definately performing, but I still don't know if it will be televised. I'd go- it's not too expensive- but it's in Arizona.
