Our church has a talent show coming up, an I'm debating whether or not to sing an Al song. And then...which one. That's where you fine people might be able to help. See, I play a little guitar, mostly chording my way through stuff, nothing fancy. So, I need an Al song that would be OK for 'sensitive' ears, and would sound all right with just guitar strumming. Thoughts?

One More Minute and Good Old Days are the only ones coming to mind right now.
Good Old Days would probably work better. If you have that Weird Al Anthology book, you'd be pretty well set.

Hmm.... You Don't Love Me Anymore? Unless that's too risque for their ears.babadavis1 @ January 27, 2009 11:19 am wrote: Our church has a talent show coming up, an I'm debating whether or not to sing an Al song. And then...which one. I would go with YDLMA for sure if I could play guitar.
On the topic of talent shows though, I sang Since You've Been Gone in 6th grade and Dare To Be Stupid in 7th grade using the backing tracks from the Amish Paradise and Gump singles. A friend of mine did Lasagna lip-synch one of those years too.
