You-Tube was where I rediscovered him. I remembered Eat It etc from when that was a hit but never heard any more until the beginning of this year

I found Al on Youtube. the first song i found was either weasel stomping day or hardware store, I forget, but anyway i thought it was absolutely hilarious so i started looking up more Weird Al stuff on youtube, and the rest is history. i'm pretty sure i discovered Al sometime in February, 2008.

You know, there may have been a topic like this, but darned if I can find it.

I first heard Al on Dr. D back in 1979. I listened on Sunday nights, either at my sister's house after babysitting my nephew, who is now 30, or at my house on my clock radio.

hmm, now who else listened on a clock radio...I wonder....:pentiums:

Neat topic..

Um. I suppose I first HEARD Yoda somewhere from my neighbors. But I didn't know it was Al. Yep. And then one day I guess the same neighbors introduced me to him on YouTube, a little. The next day was the last day of school, and my math teacher played a tape of greatest hits or whatever. :)

You know, I think it would be really helpful to have a thread stickied in the General Chat forum with links to certain topics that tend to come up a lot, like this one.

Mystik's good at archiving stuff like that. Too bad he's been banned. <_<

Thanks, Jeremy. Yeah, it'd be really great if Mystik were here. He really is good at the archiving thang, you know?
