It's a long story, but a family related Al moment happened yesterday, and it was really embarrassing, and I tried to hide in the closet, but was stopped.
You could have come and hid in my closet.

Something made me very happy today.
My mom is someone who didn't appreciate Al like I did (admittedly couldn't really stand his music and I guess didn't understand why people thought he was funny).
Today, she sat down and watched UHF with me and she laughed. A LOT. Her comments were something along the lines of "HIS COMEDY IS JUST LIKE FILIPINO SLAPSTICK!" which she grew up with. So I guess Al has become accessible to her. *laughs*
I'm happy. Usually she begs me to stop it when I'm playing Al music. ((Also, my younger sister just realized the Angry Bum Reviewer from thatguywiththeglasses.com is partially based off of the bum in UHF.)) She even sat through the UHF music video and couldn't believe how goodlooking he is. HAHA.

I watched UHF with my family for the first time, and my dad really liked it, he seems to like Al lots more after the concert and this. And my mom just said that I should listen to other artists' music, but I think she liked the movie but didn't want to say it. And my 5-year-old sister just hates Al, and nothing will change her opinion.
