He who's tired of Weird Al is tired of life.

Butters, I asked the same question on the song thread. Read the 2389572394 replies, and you'll see the answer :P

Also he changes the subject by saying "Why don't we just go bowling instead."

Don't know if these are really Al-isms, but they are mannerisms that are unique to him:

He touches his hair a lot when he speaks
He talks a lot with his hands
Almost always tilts his head to the side in pictures
And does the crazy eyed stare a lot :inlove:
I like all animals...well except for monkeys, because they climb all over your face and slap you!

That always cracks me up, because it reminds me of Jack from Will and Grace doing his Cher impersonation.

Ok....

I like it when he touches his hair, and don't find it humorous at all. It's kinda sexy.

Anyway, Alisms...he's taught me words I'd never heard before, via his songs or his interviews. *We can't all be as well-versed as OE*

Here are just tweo examples:

braggadocio - probably my favorite. He used it during an interview while talking about IAATP. He said it was like rapper braggadocio about computers. It just means empty bragging. It's just a cool-sounding word.

proscenium - a fairly new one. He used it in the 10 questions with Weird Al interview he did for Biography.

According to dictionary.com - The area of a modern theater that is located between the curtain and the orchestra.

Thanks for expanding my vocabulary, Al!
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

Agreed, ANYTHING that draws attention to his hair is gooooooooooooood!

Usually it really makes me mad when people talk using big words I don't understand but coming from him...yeah go ahead and school away! I will listen to that voice anytime! :F

I dunno, It just seems I learn so much from Al, and if any of my teachers ever looked like that, I'd be looking forward to class every day!

Hahahaaa!!! *is homeschooled, so if she made a comment about wishing her teachers looked like Al, it would be creepy*

My Mom noticed how he talks with his hands too... (She notices things like that :P) ... we had this HUGE discussion on it, and figured it was a combination of growing up watching TV (actors always use there hands when they speak) and then Mom came up with the idea that growing up nerdy (sounds like some TV show or something!!) he wanted to come across more open and normal, so he read a book on how to appear that way, and then started using his hands more when he talked... I dunno!!

If she would use her account and POST HERE maybe she could explain it! <_<
Oh snap!

I do enjoy watching him describe things, tell tales, anything - he talks with his hands so much -- even while driving :P
I'm not comfortable in my comfort zone - it's poorly named.
