I've watched this movie two times now since it has come on tv. What scene is it with Al?

Al is in a very short scene in which he shoves John Cusack's character out of a doorway.

It's in (guessing) maybe within the first third of the movie during a sequence in which the two guys are trying to get their name out to industry people in order to get video work. IIRC, Al immediately follows the scene where Cusack gives his business card to a man in an office (played by the movie's producer, Mike Nesmith) who turns out to be merely delivering bottles for the water coolers.

So I wouldn't consider it a major appearance then.
