there should be a wiki for al. I dunno, 'al-wiki' or something like that.

I think a few updates are in order.

The thing has created a fanstuff wiki to accompany the original. I think it's basically for wiki-dwellers that don't know anything about the Fan Creativity section of the forum. I put my parodies up on there as a just in case thing.

As of October 12, 2009, the Wikipedia article on "Weird Al" Yankovic has been demoted from featured article status because of a lack of sources.

Could you guys give your thoughts on either issue?

I still have issues with the "Alfred Matthew 'Weird Al' Yankovic" part at the very beginning, as if he's ever been referred to or billed himself under that entire configuration of his name. It's too awkward, and with his full birth name already in the bio sidebar on the right it comes off as a bit redundant. There are numerous other Wrongipedia articles about celebrities with stage names (Sting, Cary Grant, etc.) that convey it better.

What doesn't help is that we've been starting to see more and more news articles about Al in recent years in which the writer introduces him as "Alfred Matthew 'Weird Al' Yankovic." Why? Because their only bit of research was looking at that freakin' page!!
