Naw, take away the "Weird" and he's still Al. We knew that already. But it's "bargle NAWDLE zouss!""Strange Al" Yankovic? http://segfault.org/stories/37ce9d0c-0179bfc0.html
Hmmm... if the word "bad" is removed from the English language, does that mean that Michael Jackson would have to start singing Al's lyrics instead of the originals? It's an entertaining thought.
--Wired OE (no, I haven't had an orthographical meltdown, I've just had too much coffee today)
p.s. That is a nice pic. With all those gazillions of photos out there on the net of Al producing a wacky grin on request, you can immediately tell the difference when it's a non-professional I-really-mean-it smile-- or, in this case, a matching set of them.

His smile is nice, but her smile is almost electric. She is very pretty. And they look very happy together. Awwwwww.

Nice to see they had their priorities straight in Austin :biggrin:Don McLean (best known for writing the music to the Weird Al Yankovic hit "The Saga Begins") recently delighted his biggest fan Garth Brooks by joining him onstage at a big show
Also found a good article on mondegreens at http://www.cuyamaca.net/tpagaard/Pagaar ... greens.pdf which includes the line, "Weird Al Yankovic has made a career out of this stuff."
Ever wondered what Weird Al's favorite love song is? The answer is here at http://www.theatremania.com/news/featur ... 1952&cid=1 Just another piece of evidence to suggest that Suzanne is probably hoping for no serenades from her beloved.

From a story about the premiere of the re-release of "This Is Spinal Tap" (would that be the re-premiere? The postmiere? The twofermiere?):
His tuba?
To play the song "Big Bottoms" Spinal Tap brought out Weird Al Yankovic with his tuba and infamous bassist Lee Sklar to play with them and in earth-shattering unison, the guys physically shook the House Of Blues; to its foundations.
His tuba?
