Jesus Christ I can't believe I read 2 pages worth of back-and-forth bitching.
"He should've gotten a banner!"
"No, he shouldn't!"
"You're obsessive!"
"No, you are!"
(Repeat above about five times)
"It got a crappy chart ranking because it was released a whole 24 hours after it was meant to!"
"It wasn't crappy!"
"Oh look, he has a banner!"
"Let's be best friends!"
104 is incredibly good for a song that wasn't promoted outside a couple of online blogs, this forum and word of mouth. Especially for a parody of a crappy rap song that was nowhere near as well-received as White & Nerdy or any of Al's previous singles.
GTF over it.

What was the benefit of him giving them the exclusive then? Unless he just really enjoys a lower royalty rate and copy protection. The Doctor @ October 16, 2008 01:30 pm wrote: I think it's kind of obsessive thinking iTunes OWES Al for some reason.
Personally, I don't understand why there needed to be an exclusive at all, but it actually makes more sense from iTunes' perspective to promote it than Al when that's the case.
I'm ranking every Beatles song on my new pop culture blog. Check it out!

Oh, please, no! I'm one of the people who liked the song right off the bat. I was not comparing it to White and Nerdy, or anything else. I do not want to see Darryl Hall's ugly mug instead of Al's face on a banner.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:
"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11
So awesome!
Al Team #325
