Oh, my, that was so funny! Totally out of left field, but funny!! Not sure how many younger folks know who Aimee Mann is, but they might know Patton and of course, Al. Our boy clearly has no fear when it comes to comedy.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

Hey, were we not allowed to post links to videos of Weird Al and BNL at the grove? Because someone uploaded a new video of it today, where you can actually see Al playing the accordion!!

Just look for "Unusual Albert" on YouTube. That's what they called Al, for some reason :P

Amazing! :D It's so nice to see Al playing his accordion...but why's he wearing glasses? Unless I'm seeing things wrong...

Wow, Al on the accordion sends happy juice down my spinal cord. Al, use more accordion, please! Great job.

He was indeed wearing glasses. He has to sometimes, even with the LASIK. I guess after you have this proceedure, over time, your corneas harden. So, yeah, there have been a few other events where people spotted him wearing glasses.

Btw, just watched the video. Yay!!!

So great.

Even if you don't have LASIK, when you get to a certain point in life, you often need reading glasses.

And isn't it lovely to watch Al just being a musician sometimes? He seems so happy and absorbed in what he's doing. And I can't imagine he'd played that song much before, if at all...
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.
