The whole "I’m not made of cash. Do you think you could chip in for gas?" verse cracks me up every single time.

I'm traveling and have my state-issued laptop, and the powers that be make my computer say "Don't Download This Song". I'll have to wait until I get home to buy it.

This lyric jumped out at me. I work with really, really impoverished patients at my parole clinic, particularly the one in Compton [right next door to Lynwood]. Because of the mess with the California budget, the agents haven't been able to give the ones who don't yet have any incomes any bus tokens to get into the parole office for their required appointments. Some of them are physically disabled.

Wealth doesn't "trickle down", but economic disasters do. I guess this is "no-supplies-side economics" in action.

Is it just me or does this song have an annoying buzz throughout?

I do hope Al's next parody is something with melody. Remember melody?

Aside from that, I do like it. The first few listens were LOL funny and it was fun to pick up on new lyrics each time.

I like this song a lot I feel so many people can relate to Al's version more then the original song.
Some people are just born human. The rest of us, we take a lifetime to get there

Random cultural reference question: Can you really get free HBO by stealing your neighbor's cable? Where I live, HBO it's a premium channel, so you'll need a special decoder box to watch it.

Yes, it's possible. When I lived in Albany NY my upstairs neighbors had HBO, so I had "free" HBO. I didn't even have to rewire anything -- it just worked out that way.

I miss Bill Maher's show most.

Isn't because this is the first single, doesn't that mean it'll be the lead parody? I mean, I know that "Don't Download This Song" was released first, but that wasn't a parody. So, because it's a single, AND a parody, doesn't that mean it'll most likely be the lead parody?

It's better for Al for the lead parody to be the most *current* idea when the next full album is released. That was the case for all his CDs since Bad Hair Day.

I agree with those who say this'll be one of the last tracks when the full CD comes out.

My guess is that if this was a successful experiment, Al will release more parodies and then the eventual album's lead song will be whatever song was most recent.

Or perhaps he'll keep the very last parody as a secret for the album's release date.
