I once heard the song Eat It on Channel One News (It's this cheesy "teen" news program they makes us watch in the mornings at skool). If I recall correctly, it was a segment about a diabetic girl who had to limit what she ate every day.
We can only be thankful they didn't decide to play "The White Stuff."

"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.
I remember surfing through the tv, and there was this kids show and they were going around giving spam to people, and they had "Spam" playing in the background.
I don't know how many of you watch the Today Show on NBC but over the past few months I have noticed that when Katie and Dr. Phil were starting their "Weight Loss Challenge" they would play the song "Eat It". And since then they have used that song a couple of more times to introduce something or anything that has to do with food, being overweight or controlling what you eat. And they probably use it again when they have Dr. Phil come back to give an update on how his challenge is going.
well, today I was watching a play prieview for a play that my school was having and they played Eat It while changing to the cafeteria. I thought it was very cool!

He became Francine back in 76' and then he joined that cult. I think his name is Mother Shibubu now.

One time on Total Request Live they were eating pizza and played Eat It. I don't actually watch TRL (I really can't stand it), but I just happened to see it when I was channel surfing. I love how that happens.
That's Great! I was channel surfing and i flipped by VH1 (who, by the way, really like Al for some reason,) and saw the whole "Al getting sued by Coolio-The baby who can't take a joke" type thing it was awesome!
On Cartoon Network they having been playing the movie Pokemon The Movie 2000 and they have been playing all the credits at the end so you can hear the song Weird Al sings.
This morning on "Curtis & Kuby" on 770 WABC radio out of NYC, they played a snippet from "Eat It." They were polling the listeners and wanted to know, if invited, would they eat Thanksgiving dinner with NYC mayor Michael Bloomburg.
