I think this is a good spot to post this...while I was watching King Of the Hill, Peggy said "Let's get on the road before Dr. Demento starts taking over the airwaves."

Yeah....

Yeah....
The line is actually "Stinking up the airwaves." And Dr Demento is very proud of that quote, he actually plays it in his stage show. And you can hear ithere.

Also, I cannot believe I keep forgetting this little tidbit. Barnes and Barnes are recording a new album!!!! Artie has been giving updates on the B&B mailing list, he says they are in various stages of completion of 15 songs. And there may be special appearances. Im not saying Al, but he's been on previous albums.

Is it me, or is Al seriously the last remaining NORMAL UHF cast member these days?!

First, Trinidad Silva died. Then Stanley Brock died. Then Billy Barty died. Then, slowly but surely, the rest of the cast turned into complete dingbat wackaloons. Fran Drescher became a notorious tyrant on-set. David Bowe inspired the "box of porn" scene in The 40-Year-Old Virgin. Michael Richards showered the world with a few choice words on stage. And NOW...

Well, this is even worse because it's not just a UHF cast member, it's an actual FRIEND of Al's. This woman was invited to Al's WEDDING, for Pete's sake, and chances are you weren't. Look, I'm not here to darken your weekend or disillusion your views on the company Al chooses to keep, in ANY way. So if you have ANY respect for Victoria Jackson whatsoever, and don't want it to be completely shattered, DON'T CLICK HERE!

I had no idea Jessie and Victoria Jackson were related, but apparently they both want two new additions to their nut collections.

I'm honestly starting to believe Al is the ONLY REMAINING ENTERTAINER smart enough to realize how intolerable it is to hear entertainers with bloated egos, sermonizing un-entertainingly as though their bare political/religious opinions actually mattered.

If Kevin McCarthy dies and Gedde Watanabe starts complaining about UFOs, I'm seriously gonna move in with Anthony Geary just to make sure he doesn't derail a train full of orphans.

It's clear you don't like her opinions or the fact that she chose to express them, but in fairness to Ms. Jackson, there's no evidence (not even from this) that her ego is particularly bloated. And she is undoubtedly right that saying what she said is going to hurt her career. And that's all I have to say about that.
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

On the contrary, I LOVE the fact that she chose to express them! Not only did she exercise the first amendment right I love so much, she gave me an excuse to finally say "Victoria Jackson, your opinions mean about as much to me as a festering bowl of dog snot."

If you read between the lines, she DOES kinda seriously think that everyone who doesn't agree with her beliefs will burn eternally in a lake of fire. Sounds kinda egotistical to me, but what do I know?

And that's NOT necessarily all I have to say about that! (I've learned not to shoot myself in the foot by saying otherwise).

Arent the two things you arent supposed to talk about religion and politics? I really don't think that you should have brought this up Fred. You may not agree with her, but maybe I do. I'm not saying I do, but you are running the risk of offending many people by posting that. Just my opinion though, we'll let the mods sort it out.
