Al is trend-resistant. He knows the difference between passing fad and lasting impact.

Remember, that's the reason he sat on OTDE after he already had parodies.
You have quickly thought up such matchless phrase?

Al sat on ICWT, TPS, TWS, and TG while waiting for the next big thing, which he thought would be Michael Jackson's "Black or White," but which turned out to be a much better parody target - "Smells Like Teen Spirit."

Yeah, that was a near-miss of epic proportions.

A Micheal Jackson parody... about food!

How original!

Wasn't Taco Grande recorded in the same sessions, or slightly before "Smells Like Nirvana."

I just checked the Mothership, and yes, you are correct. TG, along with PYEO, SLN, IWOK, and Bite Me were recorded in January 1992. Although, interestingly, Taco Grande is the only one that doesn't have a specific date for the recording.

Nothing. We're just babbling incomprehensible gibberish, as usual. Pay us no mind.
