I would totally go to that! 8)
I'm not comfortable in my comfort zone - it's poorly named.

An Al-stravaganza! Sounds like fun.

It needs to be in Chicago or Indianapolis. Chicago pretty much everyone could get to.

This has already been stated, but...

It needs to be wherever the host wants it to be, cause it won't happen any other way. Planning an event hundreds of miles away from you just doesn't work. And finding a host in the specific place you want is near impossible. The only way to get it to be exactly where you want it, is to host it yourself.

1. John Wayne-OC [SNA]-just about right there
2. Long Beach [LGB] -JetBlue's SoCal hub for those looking for inexpensive flights on a decent airline, and not that far away
3. Los Angeles International [LAX]- a great big pain in the tookus to get around but sometimes the only choice for very long distances or from out of the way starting points

A bit further away:
4. Burbank Airport: a Southwest Airlines favorite site
5. Ontario Airport-getting kinda far away
6. Lindbergh Field/San Diego International-getting really kinda far away

Of course, if you're really ritzy, you could sail into Newport Beach from the Pacific Ocean on a seaworthy boat.

Cheers, Diva
about to suggest a landing at Edwards AFB on the space shuttle as a viable option, but realizing she may be taking this too far :P

I wonder if bermuda might auction off some of his memrobilia. I doubt it though, and it wouldn't matter since I probably wouldn't get the time to go.
