That is no problem at all. I have quite a few pictures during the Saga Begins. You can have them full size and everything. Just send me a message telling me which email you would like them sent to.like_im_27again @ Aug 1 2008, 01:01 PM wrote: Great pics, CindyBob! Ah, I had forgotten to post my review earlier, so here it is with rambling and so on.

July 29th, 2008
Well, the day started with me going to Jakes house so we can get going on baking some goodies for Al and the band. We started baking and we watched some Al, baked some more, watched more Al, baked some more, and played some Mario Party on Jakes Wii.
Talked with Sporkman and because of some bad timing, ended up leaving for Sioux City separately. So, Jake and I left with a bunch of goodies and such for Sioux City. Took a bit longer than planned because of traffic and construction through Iowa.
We got to Sioux City and ended up getting a hotel room because Jake had been sick recently, so he didnt want to overexert himself by driving immediately back home.
Well, Jared and company had told us where the hotel they were staying at was, so thats where we got one. Plus, they were a lot cheaper than the Holiday Inn in Sioux City.
We dropped off our stuff in the hotel room, grabbed concert necessities, and walked over the Orpheum in Sioux City.
The Orpheum in Sioux City looks a ton like the one in Omaha, except the bathrooms are nicer.
Anyway, we got to the Orpheum, picked up our tickets are Will Call and bought our respective merchandise. We went into the theatre part, where we talked to Jared and company for a bit. Thats when we found out that all photography is allowed. I was happy for that. When I found that out, I shoved my smaller camera at Jake so he could take pictures too.
We then went to our seats, where I talked to Sporkman for a bit since he was only a few seats over from us. I was also impressed that our seats werent as far back as I thought they would be. Woot!
Then the show started and all the happiness came in. The show went pretty smoothly, nothing horrible happened. I noticed Jake kept looking up at the ceiling during the Madonna interview. We got WDTAHTM.
During WBUL, Al came down my side of the aisle. He was singing, sang to the woman in front of me, tried to go to the other side, saw lots of men, so came over to me. I got the dryer line. Yum.
Right before Ill Sue Ya started, Al came from a different part of the stage. He screamed, I wrote this song just for Sioux City! I stared, I wasnt sure why Al did that. Then realized later with Jared that Al was making a pun. Since Sioux and Sue sound exactly the same. Ah, so he was being punny. Good job, Al! All the Yankobucks went toward the center, so barely any fell toward Jake and I.
The only other thing that went a bit different was that during TSB, the mic stand kept going down, so Al had to fix that, or else nothing happened out of the ordinary.
The cheerleaders during SLN were actually pretty good. I was impressed.
Also, during Albuquerque, Al really liked staring at someone in the front row. He would stare at someone, continue the song, and stare at the person again, and continues Albuquerque. This went on a few times. It was amusing.
Jake said he really liked Trapped in the Drive Thru.
When the show was over, we went out in the lobby, waited for others, chatted and waited outside by the buses. All of us waited and such, there was about 10 of us standing there. Then Jim came out briefly and suddenly I swear there were 20 more people with us. We couldnt get close enough to Jim for anything. The band had to get on the bus and they left to go to Canada. It was about 10:30 when they left.
We went back to the hotel, went over to Jareds room, watched some Al, ate pizza, then went back to our own room and fell asleep. Woke up later that morning and went back to Omaha.
Or else great show like always. I cant wait for the next tour!

Thanks, Cindy! I'll go through them when I get some time. I found out my niece is the short Stormtrooper one just to the right (his left) of Darth Vader (or VaderDave, as my brother likes to call himselfstupidsurgeon27 @ Aug 2 2008, 05:21 AM wrote: That is no problem at all. I also have more pictures than I have up online because some of them are essentially the same shot just a second apart.
I was also amused at work yesterday. I was working, when a customer came up to me and said, "Hey, were you at the Weird Al show?"
I told her I was.
She got all excited. "I thought that was you! Wasn't that show awesome? He sang to me."
I said that the show was indeed awesome, in fact it was my 22nd.
"Are you kidding?"
I told her that was true and she went, "That's completely awesome!"
I hope I see her again at work, so I can tell her I might have a picture of Al singing to her.
I just find it amusing that she recognized me at work, plus the fact that it was an out of state show. That made me really happy.
