This is kind of a personal thing but so have the last 50 pages been so...

My Asst. Band Director was working with us, and we were talking about this being the third version of this particular section and he made a comment about how we may keep changing it as our skill improves, whether it's the next version or the 27th. And I uncontrollably blurted
"Oh my God, did you just say 27?! Did you just like randomly choose that number? really? That's SO COOL!!!"

He stared at me for a while... We got off topic and talked about this and random numbers for a few more seconds before I said "Yeah, as long as it's not 14. I HATE 14! What a stupid number!"
English doesn't just borrow from other languages, it mugs them on the street and checks their pockets for loose grammar.
